My Comments: This book challenges your thoughts and assumptions of the attributes that make companies successful and what keeps them there. His analogy of getting the right people into the right seats of the bus is a great analogy of how to get the most out of everyone on your team.

My Comments: Starting out your day with a “win” and a feeling accomplishment really can set the tone for your day. You can’t control everything about the world you live in, but you can take actions to set yourself up for success.

My Comments: This one is a classic and #1 best seller for good reason. The rate of change in this world is accelerating as technology impacts more and more elements we often take for granted. This book forces you to reflect on how we can best adapt ourselves to change with the world and challenge old habits.

My Comments: In the decade since the financial crisis, any number of books have been written illuminating the ‘writing on the wall’ and all of the signals that were there for us to see. It forces us to contemplate now … what in this world isn’t what we think it is?
